Since graduating from MAPS Hamilton College with a Certificate in Advanced Screen Techniques in 2005, Cleland has quickly established himself as an emerging talent in post production. Having worked on a variety of broadcast TV and film projects, including the Screen Australia funded short film The Kiss (Dir: Ashley Page), Tropfest Bright Spark Award Winner A Moment of Grace (Dir: Dimi Pouliotis) and the ABC TV series In A League of Their Own (Dir: Steven McGregor), Cleland has become technically proficient in a variety of post production technologies and industry practices. In particular, he has worked at the cutting edge of format acquisition and delivery, being one of the first data wranglers in the state to train in Red Code and the fully digital pipeline on the kid’s TV series The Fairies.
Currently Cleland is working in the editorial department on Mario Andreacchoo’s feature film The Dragon Pearl and the SBS series Danger 5.
