David Ngo is an accomplished filmmaker with over 8 years experience in the film and television industry. As a postproduction specialist, David has worked on a wide variety of projects including animation, documentary, reality-TV, children’s programming and feature films. Many of these have screened to international audiences and won an impressive list of awards, including the Inside Film Best Animated Short Award and the SASA Best Film Award.
David began his career as a production assistant at a local animation company and has rapidly excelled to become one of the top editors and post production specialists in South Australia. Recent accomplishments include senior editor on the prime-time TV series My Restaurant Rules, the SBS TV shows Risking It All and My Generation, the multi-award winning animation Carnivore Reflux and the upcoming feature films Broken Hill and One Eyed Girl.
David has also been the online editor for dozens of films and TV shows: The Adventures of Figaro Pho (ABC animation series); Street Soccer Zimbabwe (SBS); In A League of Their Own (ABC doco series); The Light You Burn (Hilltop Hoods video clip).
Whether editing, colour grading or supervising post production, David is driven by story and connecting to audiences through the screen.
